- 3Once the mixture starts to gently bubble, reduce the heat to low-medium. Continue stirring for another 15–20 minutes until the mixture thickens. You can check the consistency periodically – after cooling, it should have the consistency of classic Salko.
- 4Pour the finished mixture into a clean glass jar or container and let it cool completely. The Salko will thicken slightly more as it cools.
