DEVILED EGGS

  • 5 eggs
  • 50 g Lučina
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon full-fat mustard
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped chives
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • salt
  • white pepper
  • 2 hearts (inner leaves) of young green lettuce

GARNISH

  • 1 anchovy
  • a piece of tomato

INSTRUCTIONS

    Peel the eggs, cut them lengthwise, and remove the yolks.
  • 2
    Mash the yolks in a bowl with Lučina, mayonnaise, mustard, and anchovy paste. Add finely chopped chives. Season with salt, white pepper, and lemon juice, then mix.

    Fill the egg whites with the mixture into the hollows where the yolks were.

    Place the deviled eggs on a platter lined with lettuce leaves. Garnish with an anchovy and a piece of tomato.
Tip
If you want to lighten the egg filling, add one finely chopped egg white. You can put the yolk filling into a piping bag; it will be easier to work with.
