DEVILED EGGS
- 5 eggs
- 50 g Lučina
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon full-fat mustard
- 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped chives
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- salt
- white pepper
- 2 hearts (inner leaves) of young green lettuce
GARNISH
- 1 anchovy
- a piece of tomato
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Peel the eggs, cut them lengthwise, and remove the yolks.
- 2Mash the yolks in a bowl with Lučina, mayonnaise, mustard, and anchovy paste. Add finely chopped chives. Season with salt, white pepper, and lemon juice, then mix.
- 3Fill the egg whites with the mixture into the hollows where the yolks were.
- 4Place the deviled eggs on a platter lined with lettuce leaves. Garnish with an anchovy and a piece of tomato.
Tip
If you want to lighten the egg filling, add one finely chopped egg white.
You can put the yolk filling into a piping bag; it will be easier to work with.
