While the feed influences the color of the yolk, the shell is colored by genetic factors and natural pigments of each breed. Eggs from breeds like Marans have a beautifully dark chocolate shell due to high pigment content, while eggs from Livornese hens are bright white thanks to a special gene that blocks pigment production. Araucana eggs are unique as they are blue not only on the outside but also inside – they are colored during the formation of the shell, not later in the hen's body. The color of the egg does not affect its taste or nutritional value – it only differs in appearance, making our packages a colorful and beautiful experience. Our eggsOur eggs are the result of the natural life cycle of hens – without interventions, without standardization. Each egg is different. Size, color, and laying frequency depend on the age of the hen, the season, and the specific breed. We do not force nature into templates. We offer eggs of all sizes – XS, S, M, L, and XL – and pack them according to similar sizes. If you choose a colorful mix, it is natural that it will also be diverse in size. We believe in respect for nature and zero waste – that is our philosophy. The composition of eggs in the package may vary depending on the availability of individual breeds.
