INSTRUCTIONS
- 1First, blend the bread into small pieces in a mixer, transfer it to a larger bowl, pour cream over it and let it soak. Finely chop the medium onion and press the garlic. Add the onion and garlic to the bowl along with the meat, Parmesan, basil, oregano, and parsley.
- 2Now preheat the oven to 200 °C, prepare a baking sheet and line it with baking paper.
- 3Mix the mixture in the bowl with your hands, season with salt and pepper, and form 20–25 meatballs. Arrange the meatballs on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 200–210 °C.
- 4Meanwhile, finely chop the large onion. Heat oil in a deep pan and let the onion soften (4–5 minutes over low heat). Then add sugar and pour in vinegar. Cook for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly, then add the tomatoes. Rinse the cans with 200 ml of water and add to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, then add the meatballs and cook for another 10–15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
