Preheat the oven to 220–225 °C and prepare a large oven-safe pan.

Wash and pat dry the chicken breasts, then season with salt and pepper on both sides. Peel and finely chop the onion.

Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in the prepared pan over medium heat. Then add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
