INGREDIENTS
- 1 large yellow onion (about 120 g)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 350 g frozen peas (1 package)
- 700 ml vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1First, finely chop the onion and garlic. Then, heat the oil in a medium-sized pot and sauté the onion over low to medium heat until translucent (about 4 minutes). Next, add the garlic and sauté for another 1 minute. Then, add the peas to the pot, pour in the broth, bring to a boil, and cook for 15 minutes over low to medium heat.
- 2Finally, blend the contents of the pot with an immersion blender until smooth, season with salt and lemon juice, and serve.
