INGREDIENTS
- 180 g all-purpose flour
- 180 g granulated sugar
- 140 g egg whites and 100 g egg yolks
- powdered sugar for dusting
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 170 °C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2Whisk the egg yolks with half of the sugar until foamy. Whisk the egg whites with the other half of the sugar and a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.
- 3Gradually add the whisked egg whites and flour alternately to the whisked egg yolks, and gently, lightly mix with a wooden spoon until everything is combined.
- 4Fill a pastry bag with a plain tip with the batter and pipe 10 cm long ladyfingers onto the baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Dust them with powdered sugar through a fine sieve, place them in the preheated oven, and bake for 15 minutes.
