  • 5 g fresh chives
  • 3 leaves fresh mint
  • 1 handful fresh basil (approx. 5 g)
  • 1 small English cucumber (approx. 200 g)
  • 100 g fresh goat cheese
  • 100 g semi-fat quark
  • 8 slices whole wheat toast bread (8× 20 g)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

First, finely chop the chives, mint, and basil. Peel the cucumber and slice it into thin rounds.

Then prepare the spread: In a small bowl, combine goat cheese, quark, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper, and mix everything together.

Next, take four slices of toast bread, spread the mixture evenly on each, add cucumber slices, and cover with the remaining bread. Finally, cut the resulting sandwiches diagonally in half and serve.
