Preparation method

Ingredients overview

  • 300 g fine oat flakes
  • 70 g liquid honey
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 50 g peanut butter
  • 70 g unsweetened dried cranberries (finely chopped)
  • Salt

First, preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a small baking dish (approx. 25 cm × 30 cm) with baking paper.

In a large bowl, mix the flakes, honey, butter, vanilla extract, peanut butter, cranberries, and a pinch of salt. Carefully press the mixture into the baking dish, first with your palm and then with a glass, to avoid air bubbles and prevent the bars from breaking when cut. Bake for 20–25 minutes at 170–180 °C.

After baking, remove the mixture from the dish, let it cool for at least 35 minutes, and then cut (preferably with a bread knife).
