Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2Finely grate the ginger. Whisk sugar, egg yolks, and eggs until foamy. Then add flour, ginger with its juice, butter, and mix until smooth. Fill a piping bag with the mixture and pipe full circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3Place in the preheated oven and bake for 12 minutes until golden.
Tip
For a better aroma and taste, use fresh ginger, not dried.
You will need a piping bag for preparation.
You can also use a piping bag with a cut tip; the pattern will then be slightly visible on the Zázvorky after baking.

Tip: For an especially delicate flavor, you can finish the sauce with a drop of lemon juice. Homemade spaetzle or wide noodles, which perfectly soak up the creamy sauce, are an excellent side dish.
