- 2 larger ripe bananas (2× 100 g without peel)
- 250 g semi-fat quark from a tub
- 250 ml whipping cream (31% fat)
- Seeds from 1⁄2 a vanilla pod
First, blend 1 ripe peeled banana with 100 g of quark until smooth in a tall container. Then transfer the blended mixture to a medium-sized bowl and rinse the container you used for blending.
Pour 250 ml of whipping cream into the rinsed container, add the seeds from 1⁄2 a vanilla pod, and whip until stiff. Add the remaining quark (150 g) and whip again. Then add the blended banana and quark mixture to the container and carefully mix with a rubber spatula.
Divide the prepared cream and quark dessert into 6 bowls and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Chef's tip
Before serving, decorate the dessert with fresh fruit (e.g., sliced strawberries), sprinkle with cocoa, and top with baked granola... perhaps coconut granola from a pan!
