INGREDIENTS
- 150 g wholemeal spelt plain flour
- 70 g oat flour (finely ground oat flakes)
- 30 g cane sugar
- 30 g Dutch cocoa
- 100 g ground walnuts
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
- 100 g butter (room temperature and cut into cubes)
- 50 g honey
- 70 ml semi-skimmed milk
- 1 egg size M
YOU WILL ALSO NEED
- Cling film
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1First, prepare the dough: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the dry ingredients – both flours, sugar, cocoa, nuts, cinnamon, and cloves. Mix everything and add butter, honey, milk, and egg. Mix everything again and knead with your hands into a stiffer dough. Wrap the finished dough in cling film and let it rest overnight in the refrigerator (if you are in a hurry for the pracny, leave it in the refrigerator for at least an hour).
- 2Take the rested dough out of the refrigerator, preheat the oven to 170 °C, and prepare the molds.
- 3Break off pieces of the softened dough with your fingers (approx. 10 g per mold) and fill the pracny molds with them so that the dough in the mold has a small indentation in the middle, and thus slightly higher edges. Place the filled molds into the preheated oven and bake for 10–15 minutes at 165–170 °C (smaller pracny will take less time, larger ones more).
- 4Let the baked pracny cool in the molds for about 10 minutes and let them cool completely before consumption.
Tip
Before serving, coat the pracny in cane powdered sugar to make them look like the classic ones. If you choose this option, please remove the sugar from the recipe so that the pracny are not too sweet.
