Preparation method
First, prepare the dough: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the dry ingredients – both flours, sugar, cocoa, nuts, cinnamon and cloves. Mix everything well and add butter, honey, milk and egg. Mix everything again and knead with your hands to form a stiffer dough. Wrap the finished dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight (if you're in a hurry for the pracny, let it rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour).
Take the rested dough out of the refrigerator, preheat your oven to 170 °C, and prepare your molds.
Break off pieces of the softened dough with your fingers (approx. 10 g per mold) and fill the pracny molds with them so that the dough in the mold has a smaller indentation in the middle and thus slightly higher edges. Place the filled molds into the preheated oven and bake for 10–15 minutes at 165–170 °C (smaller pracny will take less time, larger ones more).
Chef's tip
Before serving, coat the pracny in cane powdered sugar to make them look like the classic ones. If you choose this option, please remove the sugar from the recipe so that the pracny are not too sweet.
