INGREDIENTS

  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of black pepper (for better absorption of turmeric)

INSTRUCTIONS

    Bring water to a boil in a small pot (250 ml). Once the water starts boiling, add the grated ginger and turmeric. If using fresh turmeric, make sure to grate it.

    Reduce the heat and let the tea simmer gently for about 5–10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld well.

    Strain the tea into a cup to remove the ginger pieces.

    Add honey and lemon juice to taste. For better absorption of turmeric, add a pinch of black pepper.
