Preparation method
In a bowl, prepare the yeast starter using half of the lukewarm milk, half of the flour, the yeast, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Once the starter has risen, add the remaining milk, the remaining flour, lemon zest, and warm butter. Knead into a smooth dough and let it rise for 90 minutes.
Divide the dough into thin "ropes" about 3 cm wide and cut off small buns of about 3x3 cm. Place them in a greased baking dish, brush with melted butter, let them rise for about 20 minutes, and bake at 180 °C for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
Heat the milk, season with vanilla sugar, and thicken with the vanilla pudding powder dissolved in the milk. Cook briefly, then flavor with Tuzemák (Czech rum) and egg liqueur.
