INGREDIENTS
- 4 sausages
- 4 hot dog buns
- 2 medium onions
- 120 g cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- BBQ sauce
- Sauerkraut (to taste)
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Slice the sausages in half lengthwise, keeping them connected.
- 2Caramelize the chopped onion in a pan until golden brown.
- 3Then grill the sausages on each side until cooked through, and lightly grill the hot dog buns as well.
- 4Spread cream cheese on one side of the toasted buns. Add the sausages to the buns and top with grilled onions. Finally, add slices of fresh, thinly sliced jalapeño and drizzle with BBQ sauce. You can also add sauerkraut if you like.
