INGREDIENTS

  • ½ chicken breast, sliced lengthwise
  • 3 slices of toast bread
  • 40 g bacon, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 40 g mayonnaise
  • 2 iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices of tomato
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • freshly ground pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

    Season the chicken with salt and pepper and pan-fry in hot oil over medium heat for 2 minutes on each side. In the same pan, fry the bacon until golden. Set both aside.

    In a second pan, toast the bread on both sides until golden.

    Crack the egg into the pan with the bacon fat, season with salt, and fry over low heat for 4 minutes. Season with pepper, flip the egg, and fry for 1 minute on the other side. Remove from the pan and set aside.

    Spread mayonnaise on one side of the toasted bread. Place iceberg lettuce on the first slice, then tomato slices on top.

    Cut the chicken into 3 pieces and place it on the tomato. Cover with the second slice of toast, mayonnaise-side down.

    Spread mayonnaise on the dry side and place the fried bacon and egg on top. Cover with the last slice of toast, mayonnaise-side down.

    Cut the sandwich diagonally in half. Pierce each portion with a toothpick and serve immediately.
Tip
You will need 2 pans for preparation. You will need a flat spatula for turning.
