Cut the rohlíky into 0.5 cm cubes and mix them with milk in a bowl. Peel and press the garlic. Cut the smoked meat into 2 cm cubes. In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter, add the finely chopped onion, and sauté until translucent, stirring occasionally.

Cut off and discard the outer leaves of the cabbage. Cut the cabbage into quarters and remove the tough core. Place the cabbage in a pot with salted boiling water and cook for 15 minutes. Drain and let it drip in a colander. Squeeze out the rohlíky.

Grind the cabbage, rohlíky, and smoked meat in a meat grinder. Add eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, pepper, garlic, onion, and breadcrumbs. Mix thoroughly. Form 1 cm high patties from the prepared mixture and coat them in breadcrumbs.

Chef's tip

Instead of sunflower oil, you can use quality rapeseed oil or pork lard for frying.
