INGREDIENTS

  • 400 g pork leg
  • 1 lemon
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 mint sprig
  • 2 oregano sprigs
  • 2 thyme sprigs
  • freshly ground pepper
  • salt

WINE PAIRING

  • This dish is best complemented by a fresh, light wine. You can choose from sparkling, white, rosé, or red wines.

Instructions

    Strip the herb leaves from the sprigs and stems. Soak the skewers in cold water for 10 minutes.

    Cut the meat into 3 cm cubes, place them in a bowl with the herbs, 3 tablespoons of oil, a pinch of salt and pepper, and mix. Let marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator.

    Remove the meat from the marinade and thread it onto the skewers. Cut the lemon in half.

    Place the skewers on a hot grill and grill them for 1.5 minutes on each side until the meat is tender. Place the lemon cut-side down on the grill next to the skewers.

    Place the finished skewers on a plate, drizzle with the remaining olive oil and juice from the grilled lemon.
