WINE PAIRING
- This dish is best complemented by a fresh, light wine. You can choose from sparkling, white, rosé, or red wines.
Instructions
- 1Strip the herb leaves from the sprigs and stems. Soak the skewers in cold water for 10 minutes.
- 2Cut the meat into 3 cm cubes, place them in a bowl with the herbs, 3 tablespoons of oil, a pinch of salt and pepper, and mix. Let marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- 3Remove the meat from the marinade and thread it onto the skewers. Cut the lemon in half.
- 4Place the skewers on a hot grill and grill them for 1.5 minutes on each side until the meat is tender. Place the lemon cut-side down on the grill next to the skewers.
- 5Place the finished skewers on a plate, drizzle with the remaining olive oil and juice from the grilled lemon.

Tip: For an especially delicate flavor, you can finish the sauce with a drop of lemon juice. Homemade spaetzle or wide noodles, which perfectly soak up the creamy sauce, are an excellent side dish.
