BURGER

  • 600 g minced pork neck
  • 4 baguettes, 16 cm long
  • 2 spring onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1.5 teaspoons sesame oil (1 teaspoon for meat, 0.5 tablespoon for salad)
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 tablespoons coarsely chopped coriander
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt

SALAD

  • 150 g Napa cabbage
  • 70 g carrots
  • 60 g mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ tablespoon Sriracha chili sauce

WINE PAIRING

  • This dish is best complemented by a fresh, light wine. You can choose from sparkling, white, rosé, or red wines.

    Slice the spring onions into rounds, finely grate or press the garlic.

    Mix the minced meat with spring onion, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, pepper, and salt. Form 4 patties, 12-15 cm long, place them on a hot grill and grill for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown, ensuring the meat remains juicy.

    Slice the baguettes lengthwise and grill them cut-side down. Place some salad on the bottom half of the baguette, add a meat patty, sprinkle with some chopped coriander, and cover with the top half of the baguette.

    Wash and dry the cabbage, clean and finely chop the carrots, then mix them in a bowl with the other ingredients. Set aside.
