INGREDIENTS
- 750 g ground turkey meat
- 1 medium red onion
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 30 g fresh chives
- 400 g Greek 5% yogurt
- 2.5 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
- 1 English cucumber
- Chili flakes to taste
- Salt
- Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius - preferably grill function. Mix the ground meat with turmeric, sumac spice, cumin, cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of salt or to taste, and black pepper. Now add chili to taste. I recommend 1 teaspoon. Then add 1/2 finely chopped onion and 1/2 chopped chives. Mix everything thoroughly. Form smaller logs from the meat and pierce them with skewers.
- 2Heat oil in a hot pan and sear the skewers quickly on each side. Then transfer them to a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
- 3Meanwhile, prepare the yogurt dip. Mix the yogurt with lime juice, the remaining chopped chives, and honey. Season with salt and pepper.
- 4Toast the pita bread in a toaster, or in a pan or on a baking sheet until golden brown. Serve the meat with lime dip, toasted pita bread, cucumber, and red onion.
