INGREDIENTS
- 4 pork chops with bone, 250 g each
- pepper
- 15 g peeled garlic
- pinch of chili powder
- 150 g ketchup
- 100 g honey
- 150 ml orange juice
- 30 g balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
- 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 rosemary sprigs, 10 cm long
- 10 sprigs of thyme
- salt

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Preheat the oven to 160 ˚C.
- 2Slice the garlic thinly. In a bowl, mix a pinch of salt, garlic, and chili with ketchup, honey, orange juice, vinegar, and orange zest.
- 3Season the meat generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 4Heat oil in a pan over high heat and sear the meat until golden brown on all sides, including the fatty edge. Arrange the seared chops in a baking dish.
- 5Tie the rosemary and thyme tightly with kitchen twine and place them in the baking dish with the meat. Pour the prepared marinade over everything.
- 6Place the baking dish in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Then increase the temperature to 180 ˚C and bake for another 45 minutes.
