  • shrimp
  • wasabi paste
  • soy sauce
  • pickled ginger
 

INSTRUCTIONS

    Place a portion of rice in the palm of your right hand. Pick up some wasabi paste with your index finger and spread it on the shrimp. Place the rice on the shrimp and shape the shrimp along it.

    Dip individual pieces of nigiri sushi into soy sauce flavored with wasabi paste and eat with pickled ginger.
Tip
Pickled ginger pleasantly neutralizes the taste and aids digestion.

Tip: For an especially delicate flavor, you can finish the sauce with a drop of lemon juice. Homemade spaetzle or wide noodles, which perfectly soak up the creamy sauce, are an excellent side dish.
