Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Wash and dry the peppers. Halve them lengthwise, remove the cores, and shake out the seeds. Heat a dry pan and roast the peppers on it – first cut-side down. Then transfer them to a baking sheet and finish baking in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

Chef's tip
You can also acidify the sauce with lemon juice. If you want another side dish, try roasted potatoes.
