INGREDIENTS

  • 16 g cooked chilled sushi rice
  • 20 g salmon
  • wasabi paste
  • soy sauce
  • pickled ginger
 

INSTRUCTIONS

    Slice the salmon fillets against the grain into individual portions.

    Place a portion of rice in the palm of your right hand. Use your index finger to pick up some wasabi paste and spread it on the fish slice. Place the rice on the fish and shape the fish around it.

    Dip individual pieces of nigiri sushi into soy sauce flavored with wasabi paste and eat with pickled ginger.

Pickled ginger pleasantly neutralizes the taste and aids digestion.

Tip: For an especially delicate flavor, you can finish the sauce with a drop of lemon juice. Homemade spaetzle or wide noodles, which perfectly soak up the creamy sauce, are an excellent side dish.
