INGREDIENTS
- 300 g pre-cooked red lentils
- 2 teaspoons dried marjoram
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 100 g carrots (peeled and coarsely grated)
- 70 g yellow onion (coarsely chopped)
- 200 g wholemeal spelt plain flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 eggs size M

- Boiled or baked potatoes
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1First, preheat the oven to 180–185 °C, prepare a baking sheet and line it with baking paper.
- 2Cook the red lentils according to the package instructions. Then drain and cool them under cold water.
- 3Now prepare a larger bowl, add the cooked lentils, marjoram, oil, salt, pepper, garlic, carrots, eggs, and onion, and blend everything until smooth using an immersion blender. Once the mixture is blended, add the flour and mix everything with a wooden spoon.
- 4Form patties from the finished dough, place them on the prepared baking sheet, and bake for 20–25 minutes at 180–185 °C.
- 5Serve after baking.
Tip
You can serve the patties on their own, for example, with a sour cream dip, or as a main course with boiled or baked potatoes.
