INGREDIENTS

  • 300 g of any whole wheat pasta, dry (e.g., spelt fleky)
  • 300 g chicken ham (95% meat)
  • 150 g mozzarella
  • 5 eggs size M
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 75 g white onion (finely chopped)
  • 200 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper

METHOD

    First, preheat the oven to 190–195 °C and prepare a baking dish (30 cm × 40 cm).

    Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.

    While the pasta is cooking, heat a pan with olive oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the onion to the pan and sauté it over medium heat for 2–3 minutes. Then cut the ham into thin strips, add them to the onion, and sauté for another 3 minutes. After that, turn off the heat and leave the ham with the onion in the pan.

    Drain the cooked pasta, add it to the ham in the pan, add salt and pepper, and transfer the entire mixture to the baking dish.

    Next, whisk the eggs together with the milk in a smaller bowl, pour this mixture over the pasta in the baking dish, and mix.

    Finally, coarsely grate the mozzarella over the pasta, place it in the preheated oven, and bake for 15–17 minutes at 190–195 °C.

    After baking, you can serve.
