Ingredients overview
- 400 g of Plain tofu
- 1 tbsp of Soy sauce with no added salt
- 2 tsp of Brown cane sugar
- 1 tsp of Ginger
- 1 tbsp of Extra virgin olive oil
- 150 g of Broccoli
- 1 tsp of Peeled sesame seeds 1
Cut the tofu into cubes, place in a bowl and mix with the soy sauce, cane sugar and grated ginger. Let the tofu marinate in this mixture for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a deeper pan, add the broccoli and sauté over medium heat for 10–12 minutes until tender (if the broccoli starts to burn, add a splash of water). Then add the marinated tofu to the pan and sauté everything for another 5–10 minutes. After this time, stir the sesame seeds into the mixture in the pan and remove from the heat.
Divide the mixture from the pan into 2 portions and serve.
