Preparation method
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Peel the carrot and cut it into small cubes. Clean the celery stalk and also cut it into small cubes.
Now prepare a deep pan and heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in it over medium heat. Then add the chopped onion, garlic, carrot, and celery stalk to the pan and sauté everything for 3–4 minutes over medium heat. After that, add the ground turkey meat to the pan and sauté everything for another 8–10 minutes over medium heat. Next, add the tomato paste, oregano, dried basil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, and sauté everything for another 3–4 minutes. Then reduce the heat to low, add 150 ml of water and canned chopped tomatoes to the pan, cover the pan with a lid, and cook the entire mixture for 20–25 minutes.
After the specified time, season the mixture in the pan with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
Chef's tip
Serve the finished Bolognese sauce with spaghetti and Parmesan shavings. You can also freeze it – it will last up to 6 months in the freezer.
