  • 600 g chicken breasts
  • 125 g mozzarella
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • rapeseed oil
  • Salt
  • ground pepper
  • fresh basil

METHOD

    Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

    Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a non-stick pan, sauté the chicken breasts on 1 teaspoon of oil from both sides and set aside. Add a little more oil to the pan and sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic. Then add the tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, and chopped basil. Simmer the sauce, season with salt and pepper, and place the chicken breasts into it.

    Place the pan into the oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes (depending on the thickness of the meat). For the last 5 minutes, top the chicken breasts with sliced mozzarella.
