Preparation method
Sift the flour into a bowl, add the other ingredients and 260 ml of lukewarm water. Mix into a smooth dough. In a stand mixer, this will take 5 minutes, by hand a little longer. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
Meanwhile, prepare the tomato sauce. Place the peeled tomatoes in a saucepan and add the chopped garlic. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and stir regularly. After a few minutes, the sauce will begin to thicken. Once the sauce is thick enough, remove from heat.
Preheat the oven to the highest temperature it allows, usually 250 °C, select top and bottom heat, and place a baking sheet or pizza stone inside.
Chef's tip
Don't be afraid to involve children in cooking and let them decorate the pizza according to their taste. For example, they can create a face on the pizza using olives.
