INGREDIENTS

  • Half a rutabaga, approx. 500 g
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 spring onion
  • ½ bunch of chives
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 g spelt flour
  • 2 small teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of marjoram
  • 2 tablespoons of oil for frying

INGREDIENTS FOR THE DIP

  • 100 g sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper
  • Chives

INSTRUCTIONS

    Peel the rutabaga, cut it into several pieces, and grate it on a coarse grater. Peel the onion and chop it finely. Cut the spring onion lengthwise and then slice it into thin half-rings. Peel and press the garlic. Chop the chives finely.

    Place the prepared vegetables into a bowl, add eggs, flour, marjoram, and salt, then mix.

    Heat a non-stick pan and pour in a tablespoon of oil. Using a spoon, form small fritters from the prepared batter in the pan and fry them on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.

    Serve with the dip, for which you mix the listed ingredients with finely chopped chives.
