Finely chop the onion, slice the garlic, and sauté in a tablespoon of oil until translucent. Add the shrimp and sauté for 8-10 minutes. Once the shrimp are cooked, add the cooking cream and grated cheese. Cook over low heat for one or two minutes until the ingredients combine into a smooth sauce.
Meanwhile, bring water to a boil for the asparagus. Salt it. Prepare another bowl with cold water, you can also add a few ice cubes. Break off the woody bottom part from each asparagus spear. Place the prepared asparagus into the boiling water, reduce the heat, and cook for 2-4 minutes depending on the thickness of the asparagus. The asparagus must remain firm and crisp. After cooking, immediately transfer it to the bowl with cold water. Let it cool and cut it into 2-3 cm pieces. Add these to the sauce with the shrimp.
Finally, cook the orzo according to the package instructions. After cooking, drain the orzo and immediately add it to the sauce. Mix, season with salt, ground pepper, and dried chili. Serve with lemon.
