Preparation method

Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Then prepare a large bowl, add the sliced sirloin, chopped garlic, Chinese spice, salt, and pepper, and mix everything thoroughly. Set the bowl aside and let the meat mixture marinate (ideally for 30 minutes, but a shorter time will also suffice).

Meanwhile, in a glass, mix together the soy sauce, vinegar, cane sugar, cornstarch, and chicken broth.

After the meat mixture has marinated, prepare a large pan and heat 3 tablespoons of oil over high heat. Then add the meat mixture to the pan and sauté it for 3⁠–⁠4 minutes over high heat, stirring occasionally. Then add the broccoli florets and sauté everything for another 3⁠–⁠4 minutes over high heat. Next, reduce the heat to medium, pour the prepared mixture from the glass into the pan, stir the contents of the pan, and cook everything for 5⁠–⁠6 minutes until a thick sauce forms that coats the meat and broccoli.
