Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 190–195 °C and prepare a baking dish (30 cm × 40 cm).
In a large bowl, combine the meat, egg, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, tomato paste, and corn breadcrumbs. Add the carrots and onion and mix everything thoroughly until you get a firm mixture that holds its shape. Then shape it into an oval, approximately 25 cm long and 10 cm high, and place it in the prepared baking dish.
Cut the potatoes into small cubes (approx. 1.5 cm × 1.5 cm) and arrange them around the meatloaf in the baking dish. Pour water over everything, place in the oven, and bake for 50–55 minutes at 190–195 °C.
