  • 500 g salmon fillet
  • 1 small lemon
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons liquid honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil (or sunflower oil)
  • ½ teaspoon ground sweet paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

    First, preheat the oven to 200°C, prepare a baking dish that will fit the salmon (approximately 20 cm × 15 cm), and line it with 2 layers of foil so that about 10 cm overhangs on each side.

    Slice half of the lemon into thin slices and place them in the center of the foil. Squeeze the juice from the other half of the lemon. Place the salmon on the lemon slices, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with about 2 tablespoons of the prepared lemon juice. Then prepare the sauce: Take a small bowl, peel the garlic, and press it into the bowl. Add honey, mustard, canola oil, paprika, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the pressed garlic, mix everything, and pour the resulting mixture over the salmon.

    Then close the foil so that there are no holes, and bake the salmon for 10–15 minutes at 195–200°C. Then carefully open the foil (be careful not to burn yourself) and bake the salmon uncovered for another 3–4 minutes at 195–200°C.

    Remove the baked salmon from the oven and serve.
