INGREDIENTS
- 300 g ground beef
- 1 large yellow onion (diced)
- 3 cloves of garlic (crushed)
- 1 medium-sized egg
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or sunflower oil)
- 125 g light mozzarella (coarsely grated)
- 10 g fresh basil (finely chopped)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 large bell peppers

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1First, preheat the oven to 160 °C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2Wash the peppers, cut them in half, and remove the seeds.
- 3Then prepare the filling. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, diced onion, crushed garlic cloves, egg, tomato paste, and dried rosemary. Season with salt and pepper, and fill all the prepared pepper halves with the mixture.
- 4Place the stuffed peppers on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush them with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and bake for 20 minutes at 160 °C in the preheated oven.
- 5After the time is up, remove the peppers from the oven, sprinkle with coarsely grated mozzarella, and return them to the oven for another 10 minutes at 160 °C.
- 6Remove the finished stuffed peppers from the oven and let them cool slightly. Then sprinkle with finely chopped basil and serve.
