INGREDIENTS

  • 4 thinly sliced steaks
  • 3 large onions (sliced thinly)
  • Potatoes
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 4 medium-sized eggs
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

    In a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 180°C and preheat the oven to 90°C. Peel and cut the potatoes into fries and wait for the oil to heat up.

    Fry the fries in hot vegetable oil until golden. Then drain on a baking sheet lined with paper towels, season with salt, and place in the oven to keep warm.

    Carefully pour the excess vegetable oil into a separate container, leaving about 3 tablespoons in the pan, or use a new pan.

    Sauté the onions in vegetable oil until soft and golden brown, about 10 minutes. Remove the onions and place them in a shallow pan or casserole dish and put in the oven.

    Finely chop the garlic. Season one side of the steaks with salt, pepper, and half of the chopped garlic. Pound the steaks with a meat mallet, then turn them over and repeat on the other side with the remaining garlic.

    Sear the steaks on high heat, turning once, until browned on both sides and cooked to the desired doneness. Place the steaks on the onions and return to the oven.

    Add a little oil to the pan and fry the eggs sunny side up. Season with salt and pepper as needed.

    While the eggs are cooking, remove the potatoes, steak, and onions from the oven.
